Brandon Baker is Coleman Dobbs, fresh off a seven-year stint in prison for a crime he didn’t commit.
Now he’s determined to get even with the former sheriff who framed him and the judge who sentenced him.
He quickly learns he’s too late to accomplish the former.
Sheriff Smith resigned soon after Dobbs’ trial, headed to the Alaska gold fields and was killed in a knife fight.
But Judge Clarence “Bud” Bassett (Jeffrey Smith) is still around and still throwing his weight around, most often to protect his flirtatious daughter Cathryn (Rebecca Rye).
Dobbs quickly decides the best way to get back as the judge is through the daughter he loves so much.
Dobbs doesn’t realize the Cathryn is scarred by a tragic past. As a young girl, she was forced to watch as her mother was raped, then murdered by a gang of outlaws.
Review:
A revenge Western that turns into something of a slasher flick halfway through and provides a twist at the end.
But getting there is a pretty slow slog — even with the 78-minute runtime — and among the principle cast members, only Lon Hannah as the new sheriff is really up to selling his part.
Mark McPherson plays Bottles, a bartender with a secret; Shannon Sinclear is Kaitlyn, the saloon girl who’s the judge’s mistress and would like to be more.
Jeffrey Smith, who plays the judge, was executive producer of the film and wrote the screenplay. His son, Tyler, served as director.

Memorable lines:
Diamond D, as Coleman eyes up Cathryn: “Darling, I got what you need in here. Maybe a lot less of a challenge. Maybe even better for your health.”
Coleman Dobbs: “I enjoy the challenge.”
Sheriff Thackett to a young man named Thaddeus: “Let me give you a timble of good advice: Stay away from Kathryn.”
Kaitlyn, a saloon girl and the judge’s mistress, about the judge: “He’s a good man, deep inside. He really is.”
Bartender Bottles: “It must be awful deep.”
Diamond D, overhearing a conversation between Bottles and Kaitlyn: “That was very touching you two. Makes me all warm inside. Problem is, I’m the only one warm inside.” She turns to Kaitlyn. “You, get that tinder box out there and make them cowboys feel warm inside.”
