A vicious gang led by the outlaw named Jericho Falls (Jerry Chesser) is terrorizing the territory, and a U.S. Marshal named McHenry (David Carradine) is having trouble bringing them to justice.
So local officials decide to recruit Will Drayton (Jim Hilton) to help out. He was one of Berdan’s top sharpshooters with the Union during the Civil War.
He’s now a rancher, a man who grew tired of killing. And he’s reluctant to get involved in the law business.
That is, until people around him start becoming victims of Jericho’s gang.
Once he’s involved, the Jericho gang visit his wife and viciously murder her. That seals the deal.
Will is out for vengeance, and there won’t be any bringing-them-back-alive nonsense.

Review
Except that the entire film is low-budget, poorly-acted nonsense. If you don’t know you’re in trouble by the DVD’s intro, you sure do after the first scene.
A barroom brawl breaks out. Knives are pulled. Men are punched. Jericho, angry his poker game has been interrupted, fires a shot into the air. Everyone settles right back down at their respective tables.
The nonsense continues right through the final scene, when Will uses his long gun in a showdown in the middle of town.
Carradine’s final Western before his bizarre death in Thailand is a total embarrassment.
