Famed bounty man Link Maddock (Robert Bronzi) enters a sheriff’s office to collect a bounty on a dead outlaw named Pinto Sykes.
Turns out, Pinto Sykes was related to the sheriff and his deputy. And they consider loyalty to family more important than their oath to uphold the law.
In the hail of bullets that follow, Link is wounded. He’s rescued and spirited off by a nun, Sister Marie (Rosanna Wyant).
She nurses him back to health. She tells Maddock he was tortured by dreams of hell while he was unconscious. She proclaims that God has given him a chance to turn his life around.
Maddock figures he can get on the good Lord’s good side by helping out Sister Marie and the orphanage she helps run — an orphanage that might be shut down if she can’t pay off her debt by the end of October.
Maddock has a small fortune in buried money in an old Confederate cemetery. He heads off to retrieve it.
And walks right into a trap sprung by a quartet of thieves who leave him buried in the same shallow grave he had hidden his money in.
Still determined to help Sister Marie, Maddock sets out after the thieves. Ringing in his heads is Sister Marie’s warning: Thou shalt no murder.

Another bizarre low-budget trip through the Old West courtesy of director Michael Fredianelli, who this time employs Charles Bronson look-alike Robert Bronzi as his leading man.
You might be tempted to head for the hills before the film reaches its climax. Tried of watching actors smeared with way too much dirt in an apparent stab at authenticity. Tired of watching night scenes with mediocre cinematography. Or tired of watching Bronzi stumble through the wilderness because the budget wasn’t big enough to cover the cost of a horse for him to ride.
Just know there is a big plot twist on the horizon. And a strange and frantic shootout in a pumpkin patch that goes a long way toward redeeming the film.
In terms of being bizarre, the quartet that robs out hero includes a female shootist named Jasper Jennie. Seems she was in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show at one point. Until she and her girlfriends tried to violate Annie Oakley.
Bill had two of Jennie’s lady friends branded with a big letter H on their faces. Now they wear masks. Which makes shooting straight a bit difficult. But Jennie’s desperate for an attempt to redeem herself. Perhaps by forcing a showdown with Link Maddock.

Memorable lines:
Young boy, watching Link Maddock ride into town: “My daddy said he once saw Maddock shoot a stray dog that pissed on his boot. Mid-stream too.”
Sheriff Sykes: “In this town, blood is thicker than this tin badge. You see, Pinto — Pinto Sykes — is my deputy’s second cousin. That means — son of a bitch that he was — he’s my first cousin. And son of a bitch or not, that makes him family. And no matter what the law says, I can’t trade on family.”
Sheriff Sykes, when Link Maddock requests payment in silver: “All I’ve got for you is lead.”

Gabriella Goldstein as Jasper Jennie, itching to prove herself in a showdown with Link Maddock in Bury ‘Em Deep (2025)
Sister Marie, explaining how she was able to heal Link Maddock: “Before I devoted my life to the church, my father was a horse doctor … It does seem that man and beast as quite the same on the inside.”
Grey Cloud, one of the thieves: “Now, mister, I must ask you. In this day, in this age, who the fuck keeps Confederate script.”
Link Maddock: “Call me sentimental.”
Link Maddock: “When you bury a man, you better bury him deep.”
Trapper: “As a god-fearing man myself, I hate to be shooting holes in a place of worship. But my heathen associate over there, has no such qualms.”
