Equipped with the combination to a safe from a robbery planned eight years earlier and knowledge of the town where a $500,000 Army payroll is about to be deliver, a new Gang of Roses forms, determined to get quick rich.
This gang includes hard-case Candi Baxter, reluctant saloon girl Mimi, new recruit Collette and feisty Kate, the daughter of an original gang member who now runs the Shadow Hills saloon under the name Madame L.
Candi repeatedly warns the gang that it’s a dangerous theft they’re planning.
She doesn’t know how dangerous.
A blood-thirty gang under the guidance of Lee (Gabrial Casseus) is on their trail, hell bent on getting revenge for his brother’s death.
And then there’s a mysterious female bounty killer (Amber Rose) who’s tracking them down as well.
Well, it you hoped that folks who put together the first “Gang” movie would have learned a thing or two and improved on it the second time around, you were wrong. This is definitely worse, from the audio to the acting to the action scenes.
The plot makes little sense. A combination from eight years earlier is still going to work? A gang about to pull off such a difficult mission is going to welcome two newcomers like Mimi and Collette? Oh, and the final shootout finds our gang dressed as nuns!
Now, all that aside, you’d think the gang in a film like this would rate high on the sex appeal scale. Wrong again. Only Claudia Jordan as Mimi comes off as sexy, thanks largely to a very saucy dance she does in a saloon early in the film.
Teyana Taylor can lasso up some pretty impressive cleavage; her acting is a whole lot less impressive. And there’s a guest appearance by rapper Whiz Khalifia as the most tattooed cowboy you’ll ever find.

Memorable lines:
Sheriff: “So a man comes in and snitches on his own girlfriend. I think I’m going to have to contemplate the character of a man like that.” (Pause) “I think I’m going to put you under arrest.”
Kate’s boyfriend: “What sheriff? Arrest?”
Sheriff: “For violating love.”
Collette: “The Candi Baxter? Didn’t you get gunned down back in El Paso?”
Candi: “And in Missouri. And in Wisconsin. And in every other big city.”
Collette: “I ain’t never killed nobody before. What that feel like?”
Cassie: “It depends.”
Collette: “On what?”
Cassie: “On who you kill. Takin’ a life ain’t all it’s cooked up to be. But when you kill the right person, it feel like a buffet sometimes.”
Mimi to Candi, during a dust-up: “I got a silver-tipped arrow with your name on it, bitch!”
