Forrest Harris and Knuckleduster Miniatures make the best 28mm Old West figures money can buy.
The make and sell terrain sets as well, though I consider a few of those pretty overpriced.
That’s the case with this street accessories pack, which sells for $27.50 and includes three hitching posts, three benches, two wagon wheels, three sacks, two rain barrels, a water trough and a water pump.
Fortunately, I was able to pick up the set for much, much less on Ebay.
Here’s the painting scheme I used. As with much of my terrain, I used lots of cheap craft paints you can pick up at any ol’ Hobby Lobby.
And, yes, I know water wouldn’t look that blue in a water trough or rain barrel. I just like the appearance and adding a smidgeon of color to all the blacks and browns on an Old West terrain board.
